Dr. Laukien is the founder of Black Forest Ventures. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University. Dr. Laukien guides Black Forest Ventures’ principle investment strategy.

Mr. Hitchcock holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of Black Forest Ventures’ various businesses. Mr. Hitchcock held senior management roles at both a publicly-traded and privately-held multi-national companies, has Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a MBA degree in Management from Bentley University.

Mr. Kustu is responsible to help grow existing Black Forest Ventures investments with his vast experience in strategic marketing and sales, community relations and branding. Mr. Kustu has a B.S. degree in Marketing from University of Hartford, held management roles for public, private and non-profit organizations in the past. Mr. Kustu is also responsible for Black Forest Ventures’ Merger & Acquisitions activities.
